Going Above and Beyond

We often sit back and watch those who go above and beyond there job duties. We may even ask ourselves how can someone be so nice to do more then what is expected? You may think that they were told to help. Or you may think they are just showing off. But know lets take another look or a personal look inside. Have you ever found yourself doing something to help someone that maybe you wouldn't do for someone. Doesn't that take something special.
Well I can honestly say someone who usually goes above and beyond on daily basis I do it because I want to help those who truly need it. I don't do it for the rewards or the praises I do it because I want to. I do it because if I don't who will. I worked with the elderly. Well one day the elevator weren't working so the assist. manger and I made sure that those who wanted to go to the dining room and those who couldn't make it we made sure that they had trays. When we were all done the assist. manger insisted that I sit down and eat lunch. Then a lot of the residents started to thank me be. Did I do it for that reason? No absolutely not. I actually get embraced when people shine the light on me for what I do. I do it for the people because they needed help. It does make me feel good to know I'm appreciated.
Well hopefully this help some realize why we do what we do.

When the Wind Blows

Well it has been a very windy today. I hope has blown away. There was a few times while I was driving I was wandering if I was going to be blown all the way back to Oz. No I'm not saying I'm not Dorothy but sure feel like I'm in Kanasa today. Still having some pain in my back. I guess that will teach me to try to rush and I need to look for my own two big feet. And oh goodness are they big. Just a stronger foundation to stand on so they say.

Well I think I just about have my blog up and running. I hate to say even tho it was a good day it was still a bad back day. But I guess that's what I get for tripping over my own two big feet trying to get bacon I may have not really needed right now. Or on second thought just maybe I'm clumsy and just tripped over my own feet. So now lets change gears for a moment and let me show you those mean the most in my life.

This is George or more often referred to as Bug and his little Sis SusieQ or also known as Turkey. They weren't to happy that I made them pose together. At the top of the page you see the love of my life, my true love, and most often referred to as Babe. I am very proud of my family and love them all every much. I miss my parents and brother and my cool sis in law. They all live up north. We don't get to see each other very often but when we are all together we get to laughing and carrying on and just have a grand old time together. Then down here I have the in laws(which is Babes family). But now I'm just babbling so goodnight and thanks for joying me on this little trip till next time be safe and may you all be happy.

Lets start out

Well lets start by saying hello...and it looks like we have another rainy day on our hands. Its been along time since I've really used a computer so I'm learning all over again. I just finished up a very nice visit and lunch with a very dear friend. Thanks for all your help today it was great.
I'm exicted to get pictures and video loaded on here for all those close to me to see how we are doing and how big my pride and joys are getting. Well I will add more later but at least this is a start.
